Daniel 9’s prophecy is marvelously fulfilled in Christ in innumerable ways. Picture it as an archetypal pattern, reemerging in diverse shapes, akin to a fractal. This quality of repetition not only deepens our understanding but also safeguards the chronology from distortion.
I’ll leave the exploration of the Long Chronology, a term I coined, to your research. There are as many examples as there are grains of sand on a seashore. But for now, you’ll have to trust me on this. I’ve dedicated 35 years to daily study in this field, not to mention my formal biblical training before that.
There have been times I’ve felt discouraged, wondering about the value of my work. Who really cares about it?
Yet, in those moments, a small, still voice reminds me: ‘Use your knowledge to point to Christ.’
So, consider what follows as just a tiny glimpse. A single drop in a vast ocean. A random point in an endless fractal
Christ’s ‘cutting off’ in the midst of the final ‘week,’ magnified tenfold, embodies the fulfillment of Daniel 9’s prophecy. This essential pattern forges a connection between Daniel’s prophecy, Christ, and the Flood event described in Daniel 9:26. It also synchronizes with the ’70 generations’ mentioned in the Book of Enoch. Our timeline stretches from the Flood, through the era of Canaan, reaching up to AD 2025, covering a span of 140 jubilees. This chronological sequence not only reaches back into the distant past but also projects forward into the future. For additional insights, particularly regarding ‘Enoch’s’ ascension in 45995 BC, please consult the chart on ‘Sumerian Tablets’.
Fractal Chronologies: Unraveling the Infinite Patterns of Daniel 9
The discussion above is just a fragment of an extensive fractal, rooted in the archetype of Daniel 9. For instance, the starting point of Shem’s death in 4836 BC implies his birth in 5436 BC. Daniel’s prophecy about the 49, 490, 4900 years, revealed in 536 BC, aligns with 4300 and 4900 years from 4836 & 5436 BC. Refer to Exodus 12:40 and Ezekiel 4 for insights into the “4300.” This alignment indicates that the final “70 years” of the “4900” match the “70 years” of the Babylonian exile in Daniel 9. This period is bisected at Ezekiel’s Temple vision. The 4900 years (70 x 70) are also divided into 7 x 490, leading to Jacob’s birth in 2006 BC, who was born 1470 years (3 x 490) before 536 BC and lived for 147 years.
This pattern is infinite, akin to fractals, and interweaves with the Samaritan Pentateuch, Septuagint, and the idealized chronologies in the Book of Enoch, Matthew, Luke, and the Sumerian Tablets.
There are only two plausible explanations for this fractal nature:
- It’s the cumulative outcome of generations of scholars from competing schools, bound by a common numeric language, striving to surpass each other. Over time, simple rules can generate complex patterns.
- The same as above, but with a critical difference: The God of the Burning Bush directed human efforts toward Christ, the “Hope of Nations.” Whether this guidance was conscious or unconscious, I cannot say.
The Seventy Weeks (490 years)
24 “Seventy weeks[a] are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.[b] 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again[c] with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its[d] end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,[e] and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”
