This companion preserves the complete sequence of the original Flood-day study and explains the settings behind its numerical relationships. The model projects 1 day-unit into 10 years. Its selected coordinates draw on Genesis’s Flood dates, waiting periods, and signs of renewed life, then compare them with Creation, Egypt, Joshua, the Temple, and Christ.
The distinction between a biblical date, a numbered day, an elapsed duration, and a symbolic coordinate is essential. Some relationships are directly dated narrative spans; others are calculated extensions. Keeping their roles visible allows the whole proposal to be assessed without treating every projected year as an independently established event.
1. Numbered days, elapsed days, and the model index
On the study’s schematic 360-day grid, each month has 30 days. For a date in its first year:
Numbered day N = 30 × (month − 1) + day of month.
Elapsed offset E = N − 1.
A date’s numbered day describes the day it occupies; its elapsed offset measures completed days at its beginning. Thus month 2, day 17 is numbered Day 47, with 46 days completed. Its full day-unit extends from elapsed 46 to 47. Neither view changes the biblical month-day date.
The original model also uses a selected index, D. It adopts numbered coordinates at some nodes and elapsed coordinates at others. The following table distinguishes those choices. Calendar dates derived from waiting periods are labeled separately from the dates Genesis expressly supplies.
| Event | Flood year | Month | Day of month | Numbered day N | Completed days E | Model index D | Calendar status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seven-day warning (derived) | 1 | 2 | 10 | 40 | 39 | 40 | Inferred seven-day pre-Flood warning placement, not a printed Genesis month/day. |
| Flood/rain begins | 1 | 2 | 17 | 47 | 46 | 47 | MT narrative date; same model index as its ordinal number. |
| End of modeled forty-day rain (derived) | 1 | 3 | 27 | 87 | 86 | 87 | Derived by forty elapsed days from rain beginning, using a consistent boundary; no printed Genesis month/day. |
| Ark rests | 1 | 7 | 17 | 197 | 196 | 197 | MT narrative date; 150-day separation from month2/day17. |
| Mountain tops appear | 1 | 10 | 1 | 271 | 270 | 270 | MT narrative date; model uses elapsed offset, not ordinal number. |
| Bird-release start after forty (derived) | 1 | 11 | 11 | 311 | 310 | 310 | Derived from mountain-top elapsed boundary plus40; first-dove/raven same-day alignment is a model assumption. |
| Second dove after seven (derived) | 1 | 11 | 18 | 318 | 317 | 317 | Derived seven-day wait; Scripture states wait, not this calendar date. |
| Third dove after another seven (derived) | 1 | 11 | 25 | 325 | 324 | 324 | Derived further seven-day wait; Scripture states wait, not this calendar date. |
| Possible third seven-day closure (inferred) | 1 | 12 | 2 | 332 | 331 | 331 | Extra closure not stated in Genesis. |
| Covering removed | 2 | 1 | 1 | 361 | 360 | 360 | MT narrative date; model uses elapsed offset. |
| Earth dry | 2 | 2 | 27 | 417 | 416 | 417 | MT narrative date; model uses ordinal number. |
| Projected terminal after40 (inferred) | 2 | 4 | 7 | 457 | 456 | 457 | Legacy model terminal; no additional Genesis forty-day interval stated. |
The dated beginning and Ark-rest positions preserve the 150-day span under either consistent convention:
197 − 47 = 196 − 46 = 150.
By contrast, 197 → 270 gives 73 model units, while the corresponding elapsed calendar boundaries 196 → 270 give 74 days. Likewise 360 → 417 gives 57 model units, while 360 → 416 gives 56 elapsed days. The legacy 730-year and 570-year projections remain valid differences between its chosen D coordinates. They should be read with those coordinate choices visible.
The year is a harmonic calendar assumption, not a claim that every historical year contained exactly 360 physical days. File 12 distinguishes the 360-day register, intercalation settings, and whether an added interval is included in a particular reckoning.
2. The complete Flood-coordinate register
The register below retains all fourteen positions from the original narrative table, with corrected descriptions. Its opening point is a model origin. The actual Flood onset belongs at the dated month-2/day-17 position, rather than being placed simultaneously at D0 and D47.
| Original row | Model position D | Reconciled event or role | Calendar or interpretive status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | Symbolic year-origin | Reference point; narrative entry into the Ark belongs to month 2, day 17. |
| 2 | 40 | Opening forty-unit model segment | 400-year comparison. Also the numbered position of a derived seven-day warning, if month 2, day 10 is assumed; no extra forty days of rain. |
| 3 | 47 | Flood and rain begin; door shut | MT month 2, day 17 is numbered day 47; 46 days completed. Door closure has no independent printed month/day. |
| 4 | 87 | End of modeled forty-day rain | Forty units after D47; calendar date derived, not printed in Genesis. |
| 5 | 197 | Ark rests | MT month 7, day 17; numbered day 197, 196 days completed. |
| 6 | 270 | Mountain tops appear | MT month 10, day 1; 270 days completed, numbered day 271. Nine full months from year-origin. |
| 7 | 310 | Raven and first-dove sequence | Forty units after D270. First dove on same date as raven is a model assumption. |
| 8 | 317 | Second dove release | Seven-unit wait; Genesis states the wait but not this month/day. |
| 9 | 324 | Third dove release; no return | Another seven-unit wait; Genesis states the wait but not this month/day. |
| 10 | 331 | Possible third closing week | Optional extension; no third seven-day wait is explicitly stated. |
| 11a | 360 | Noah removes the covering | MT next year, month 1, day 1; 360 days completed. Covering, not a statement that the entire roof was removed. |
| 11b | 361 | Interpolated Temple-foundation coordinate | D361 maps to 966 BC; this row is a model comparison rather than an additional Flood narrative event. |
| 12 | 417 | Earth fully dry; departure follows | MT next year, month 2, day 27; numbered day 417, 416 days completed. |
| 13 | 457 | Assumed final forty-unit closure | 417 + 40; Christological comparison. Genesis does not state a further forty days after departure. |
Genesis 7:4, BSB supplies the seven-day warning and forty days of rain. Genesis 7:11, BSB dates the onset, while Genesis 8:3–4, BSB relates the subsiding waters and the Ark’s resting. The opening D0→40 segment is a model segment; it is not an additional biblical forty-day rainfall before D47→87.
At D270, the model uses the elapsed position of month 10, day 1, when the mountain tops appear (Genesis 8:5, BSB). Since 270 = 9 × 30, nine complete schematic months have passed. The emergence of the mountains can suggest renewed birth within the study’s interpretation, but Genesis does not call this a human gestation calculation.
The forty-day wait before opening the window is stated in Genesis 8:6–7, BSB. The arrangement places the first dove with the beginning of the bird-release sequence at D310. The text does not explicitly fix the raven and first dove to one common date. The two subsequent seven-day waits are stated in Genesis 8:10–11, BSB and Genesis 8:12, BSB.
D331 is an inferred third-week closure. D457 is an inferred forty-unit extension after the dry-earth threshold. Both belong to the symbolic arrangement, rather than to additional intervals expressly reported in Genesis. D361 is an interpolated Temple comparison; it is not another Flood event between covering removal and dry earth.
3. The complete 1:10 mapping
The primary BC calculation is:
Projected year BC = 4576 − 10D.
Its origin is constructed from the terminal Christological reference:
6 + 457 × 10 = 4576.
Thus 4576 BC is a symbolic origin, not a replacement date for the literal Flood. All fifteen original mapping rows remain in the following ledger. Each row’s label distinguishes ordinary chronological anchors, selected textual settings, and generated thresholds. The alternative origin’s results are included for comparison.
| Original row | Model position D | Principal year, BC | Alternative year, BC; same D | Reconciled role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | 4576 | 4876 | Symbolic origin, derived from 6 BC plus 4570; not the literal Flood BC date. |
| 2 | 10 → 16 | 4476 → 4416 | 4776 → 4716 | Two SP Year-6 comparison states: +60 ON at 4476, OFF at 4416. Not one universally +60 rail. |
| 3 | 40 | 4176 | 4476 | MT Year-6 +60 ON state 4176; associated initial model 40 is not an extra scriptural rain period. |
| 4 | 46 → 47 | 4116 → 4106 | 4416 → 4406 | MT ordinary Year-6 4116 at D46; controlled purification-complete / Conquest-bridge endpoint 4106 at D47 (File 07 §4.1). The unit has ten years; +60 is OFF here. |
| 5 | 87 | 3706 | 4006 | Selected SP full-430 Egypt comparison frame, Gear 1 primary station, +60 OFF Noah birth state. |
| 6 | 197 | 2606 | 2906 | Selected SP full-430 Egypt comparison frame, Gear 1 primary station, +60 OFF Shem death state. |
| 7 | 270 | 1876 | 2176 | Normal MT entry into Egypt, held 430 years before 1446 BC Exodus. |
| 8 | 310 | 1476 | 1776 | Normal MT Joshua birth; the 400-year Egypt-entry→Joshua-birth relation is distinct from affliction 1846→1446. |
| 9 | 317 | 1406 | 1706 | Normal MT Conquest coordinate; second-dove relation is a selected symbolic correspondence. |
| 10 | 324 | 1336 | 1636 | Calculated seventy-year post-Conquest endpoint, not an independently dated narrative event. |
| 11 | 331 | 1266 | 1566 | Calculated second seventy-year endpoint; model third-wait extension, not a stated additional Genesis interval. |
| 12 | 360 | 976 | 1276 | Generated threshold 430 years after Conquest, ten years before Temple966; not David death or Temple commencement. |
| 13 | 361 | 966 | 1266 | Historical Temple foundation966; interpolated model D361 has no additional Flood event. |
| 14 | 417 | 406 | 706 | Generated projection threshold406, 400 years before6 BC; final Flood ordinal417 is separate from elapsed416. |
| 15 | 457 | 6 | 306 | Canonical6 BC conception / Incarnation Christological anchor; +40 beyond dry-earth model417 is an inferred symbolic extension. |
Several qualifications matter when reading the complete table:
- The SP
4476 → 4416comparison joins Year-6 states with Terah +60 ON and OFF. It is not wholly one +60 chronology. MT 4176 likewise uses +60, whereas 4116 is the normal MT Year-6 state. - SP Noah’s birth at 3706 and Shem’s death at 2606 use the full-430-Egypt comparison, Terah +60 OFF, Gear 1 primary stations. Native SP dates and the default Gear-2 frame remain distinct.
- MT Egypt entry 1876, Joshua’s birth 1476, Conquest 1406, and Temple foundation 966 are controlled dates. The calculated Exodus position is D313→1446. These settings are supplied by File 18.
1876 → 1476 = 400concerns Egypt entry to Joshua’s birth. It is a separate comparison from the 400-year affliction span1846 → 1446.- The projected 1336 and 1266 endpoints mark one and two seventy-year blocks after Conquest. Their ten and twenty sabbatical-year positions are schematic counts, not evidence that every Sabbath year was observed or that an independent event occurred at each endpoint.
At D360 the model generates 976 BC, 1406 − 976 = 430, ten years before Temple foundation. The original’s identification of this point with David’s death and the commencement of Temple construction does not agree with the current chronology. File 08 distinguishes the precise David–Solomon transition at 970t/n and the Rounded comparison at 971n. The historical Temple foundation remains 966 BC. The generated 976 threshold preserves the proposed 430-year relationship without inventing an event at that year.
The 406 BC point is similarly a projection threshold, not a separately supplied biblical event. Its role is 406 − 6 = 400: the final inferred forty model units leading to the Christological reference. Covering removal, the dry-earth date, and Noah’s later departure remain separate moments in Genesis 8:13, BSB, Genesis 8:14, BSB, and Genesis 8:15–19, BSB.
4. Creation states and the half-day correspondence
The seven-year Creation-week fields contain a five-year segment to Year-6 and a further two-year segment to their terminal coordinate. File 07 and File 18 control these distinctions. At the 1:10 scale, five years occupy half a model day; two years occupy one-fifth.
| Textual tradition | Setting | Week begins, BC | Year 6, BC | Terminal, BC | Week starts at D | Year 6 at D | Terminal at D |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SP | Terah+60 ON | 4481 | 4476 | 4474 | 9.5 | 10 | 10.2 |
| SP | Terah+60 OFF | 4421 | 4416 | 4414 | 15.5 | 16 | 16.2 |
| MT | Terah+60 ON | 4181 | 4176 | 4174 | 39.5 | 40 | 40.2 |
| MT | Terah+60 OFF | 4121 | 4116 | 4114 | 45.5 | 46 | 46.2 |
The normal MT field is 4121 → 4116 → 4114 BC. Its +60 counterpart is 4181 → 4176 → 4174 BC. The preferred SP genealogical chain head remains 4414 BC; 4416 BC is its separately typed physical Year-6 comparison node. The selected SP full-430 comparison similarly has 4421 → 4416 → 4414 BC, or 4481 → 4476 → 4474 BC with +60.
These preserve the original’s half-day observation:
5 years ÷ 10 = 0.5 model day.
The original illustrated a half-day as 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. That is a useful twelve-hour picture if its clock phase is chosen explicitly. The scaling equation alone does not assign those clock times.
The printed range 4121–4414 mixed MT and SP fields. The proper SP week here is 4421 → 4414, occupying D15.5→16.2. Only its final 4416 → 4414 portion occupies the beginning of numbered Day 17’s unit, D16→17. The whole Creation week begins halfway through the preceding unit. The original also suggests a festival connection at this unit. Since it names no particular feast or date calculation there, this remains an interpretive suggestion rather than an additional verified correspondence.
The corresponding normal MT Year-6 coordinate is D46→4116. The next model boundary is D47→4106. File 07 also controls 4106 as a purification-complete and Conquest-bridge endpoint, distinct from the actual Creation terminal. Thus the original 4116 → 4106 range represents a full ten-year unit, containing the terminal 4114 coordinate near its beginning. The +60-to-normal Year-6 comparison gives 60 years, D40→46; the next occupied unit extends the display to 70 years at D47. This explains the original’s six-plus-one arrangement. It does not replace the actual terminal 4114 with the generated 4106 endpoint or silently open a Rounded state.
Genesis 1:26–31, BSB places humanity’s creation on the sixth day, and Genesis 2:1–3, BSB describes the seventh-day completion and rest. The BC fields and their projected fractions are chronological interpretations of that structure.
5. Two-year counterparts
The original compares the Year-6-to-terminal difference with other two-year expressions: Arphaxad’s birth after the Flood (Genesis 11:10–11, BSB); two famine years before Joseph summons his family (Genesis 45:6, BSB); and Herod’s limit of two years old and under (Matthew 2:16, BSB).
At this scale, 2 years ÷ 10 = 0.2 model day. The comparison can be retained as a recurring two-year motif. These passages describe different intervals and degrees of precision. Herod’s age limit does not establish an exact two-year period preceding Christ’s birth; nor does transferring the model origin make every interval share one historical boundary.
6. The optional floating month
The alternative origin represents a floating 30-day month before the selected Flood sequence:
30 model days × 10 = 300 years.
4576 + 300 = 4876 BC.
This is an optional calendar-setting construction. File 12 permits counted and uncounted intercalary comparisons; it does not establish this particular month as an expressly dated extra month in Genesis.
Changing the origin while holding D fixed shifts every projected result 300 years earlier. Therefore the primary D457 gives 6 BC, but the alternative same D457 gives 306 BC. To retain the 6 BC endpoint with origin 4876, the total must become D487:
4876 − 487 × 10 = 6.
The added thirty units and the origin shift must be displayed together when the terminal stays fixed. This prevents two different operations—shifting dates at unchanged indices and adding a month while preserving the terminal—from being confused.
7. LXX, MT, and SP Year-6 comparisons
The original’s LXX relationships remain arithmetically useful. Its normal actual Year-6 and terminal coordinates are 5496 and 5494 BC; the corresponding +60 comparison gives 5556 and 5554 BC. File 13 and File 18 distinguish the actual states, overlays, and Rounded comparisons.
The principal alignments are:
5496 − 920 = 4576, where 920 = 40 × 23;
4576 − 460 = 4116, where 460 = 20 × 23;
4876 − 460 = 4416.
Consequently the LXX-to-MT Year-6 relation is 5496 − 4116 = 1380 = 3 × 460. The SP alignment uses the alternative symbolic origin. These relationships connect explicitly selected states; they do not place every Creation coordinate on one unchanged origin.
The model’s narrative-day grid is MT-based. Comparing SP and LXX chronological years against that grid does not make their Flood-calendar readings identical. Textual traditions, calendar variants, and chronological settings must be named independently.
8. All selected span calculations
This register retains the forty-, seven-, fourteen-, 110-, 150-, 430-, 440-, and terminal-span relationships. Its descriptions identify model differences that should not be read as ordinary elapsed narrative days.
| Relationship | From D | To D | Model units | Years | Qualification |

| Whole selected pattern | 0 | 457 | 457 | 4570 | 457 model units=4570 years. |
| Conquest to6 BC | 317 | 457 | 140 | 1400 | 140 model units=1400 years. |
| Exodus to Conquest (derived) | 313 | 317 | 4 | 40 | Four model units=40 years; D313 is derived canon coordinate. |
The 40 → 400 and 7 → 70 counterparts are straightforward products of the chosen scale. Their mathematical truth does not by itself determine the historical setting or theological meaning of either endpoint.
9. Completion at 4600 and 4900 years
Ordinary spans across BC and AD use BC + AD − 1. No chronological Mirror operator is needed for this construction.
6 BC → AD 25 = 6 + 25 − 1 = 30.
4576 BC → AD 25 = 4576 + 25 − 1 = 4600 = 200 × 23.
The original’s 4570-year sequence therefore receives a thirty-year extension to a ministry reference: 4570 + 30 = 4600. This is not “thirty years of Jesus’ ministry.” Luke 3:21–23, BSB describes Jesus as about thirty when He began. File 13 controls the AD 25 display, the separate AD 27 target, and the 6 BC Christological anchor. Its conception/Incarnation rail remains distinct from the traditional December 25, 1 BC birth-calendar datum. The present calculation does not establish an exact historical birthday or ministry date.
The original’s secondary companion also checks: 4574 BC → AD 27 = 4600, with 4 BC → AD 27 = 30. It can be retained as a separately selected model pair without replacing the principal 6 BC reference. The corresponding alternative-origin pair, 4874 BC → AD 27, spans 4900 years. These paired terminal comparisons do not translate the whole ordinary-event table by two years.
The optional 300-year increase gives:
4876 BC → AD 25 = 4900 = 70 × 70 = 10 × 490.
The original then described 4900 as 70 × 7 × 7. That product is 3430, with a distinct valid endpoint:
4876 − 1446 = 3430 = 7 × 490.
The remaining Exodus-to-ministry span is 1446 + 25 − 1 = 1470 = 3 × 490. Together, 3430 + 1470 = 4900. This preserves the proposed numerical relationship to Daniel 9:24–27, BSB with correct arithmetic and explicit endpoints.
The original’s final reference to 1:100 can be retained as regrouping: 4600 = 460 × 10 = 46 × 100. It does not introduce a second complete Flood mapping in which the same D positions suddenly represent 100 years each. File 44 distinguishes scale transformations and their state controls.

10. Interpretation and its limits
The Flood narrative moves from judgment through waiting and testing toward dry land, worship, and renewed life. In this proposal, that movement offers a framework for comparing Egypt, entry into the land, the Temple, and Christ. The doves contribute to the renewal imagery; the second release accompanies the selected Conquest counterpart, and the final extension leads toward the Christological anchor.
The original’s reference to two doves at Christ’s birth is more precisely connected to the family’s Temple presentation after purification (Luke 2:22–24, BSB; Leviticus 12:6–8, BSB). Noah’s bird testing and this later offering are distinct narratives joined by theological analogy. Neither text states the proposed 1:10 relationship.
The recurrence of forty, seven, 150, 400, 430, and 490-related products supports examining these correspondences together. Divine orchestration is the theological interpretation of the pattern. The arithmetic and coordinate ledger make that interpretation assessable; they do not turn it into a statistical proof or a statement that each biblical writer consciously designed every later overlap.
11. What has changed
The replacement retains both complete table sequences and the original’s substantive notes. It corrects the origin’s event label, exposes mixed numbered/elapsed conventions, names +60 and SP Gear settings, repairs the malformed Creation range, qualifies bird-release and terminal extensions, and removes the false David-death identification at 976. The corrected 3430 / 4900 distinction preserves both useful relationships. Repeated declarations of precision and certainty have been replaced by the calculations and their stated roles.
The unchanged original remains available through the archive link at the end of the main study. Its original wording and tables are retained there as a historical record.
12. Sources, diagrams, and downloadable evidence
The controlling chronological files are File 07, File 08, File 12, File 13, File 18, and File 44. They supply Creation states, royal dates, calendar registers, Christological vocabulary, full date tables, and scaling rules. Novel relationships in this article remain proposals with their settings stated; absence from a canonical file alone is not a reason to discard them.
The downloadable registers preserve the original inputs, every row’s mapping, the separate calendar comparison, fractional Creation states, selected spans, and independent arithmetic verification. The package also retains the exact original body and the source captures used for checking.
