These tables support From Shem to Christ: The 4,900-Year Pattern. They identify the chronological setting of each endpoint and separate the calculations from their theological interpretation. Dates stay in ordinary BC/AD labels unless a seasonal suffix is printed. t denotes Tishri/autumn reckoning; n denotes Nisan/spring reckoning.
1. Reading the dates
The normal MT ordinary chronology uses 430 years in Egypt, with Abraham born in 2166 BC, the Exodus in 1446 BC, and Jacob born in 2006 BC. No optional +60 Terah or restored second Cainan is introduced into the MT comparisons below. The cumulative chain instead stacks complete lifespans backward from the Mosaic endpoint. Its early dates have a schematic, cumulative role.
Shem’s 100 + 500 = 600 comes from Genesis 11:10–11, BSB. The cumulative placement of that life is supplied by the model. The LXX uses its native second Cainan and main Lamech lifespan of 753, with begetting 182 and calculated remainder 571. The MT-derived LXX 777 overlay is separate and does not propagate through the main cumulative chain.
These distinctions are controlled by File 18, especially §§4A and 6A/6D; the selected applications are controlled by File 30. The chosen LXX points below reproduce File 30’s stated spans within the main-chain fields. They are selected actual cumulative coordinates, rather than a relabeling of the whole chronology as Rounded.
2. Two journeys: 600 + 4300 = 4900
| Endpoint | MT cumulative comparison, BC | LXX cumulative comparison, BC | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shem’s birth | 5436 | 6346 | Selected cumulative start |
| Shem’s lifespan endpoint / Flood–Arphaxad field member | 4836 | 5746 | Selected cumulative intermediate point |
| Deliverance reference | 536 | 1446 | Restoration / Exodus |
| Calculation | MT | LXX |
|---|---|---|
| Shem’s 600-year contribution | 5436 − 4836 = 600 | 6346 − 5746 = 600 |
| Intermediate point to deliverance | 4836 − 536 = 4300 | 5746 − 1446 = 4300 |
| Whole span | 5436 − 536 = 4900 | 6346 − 1446 = 4900 |
| Sum of parts | 600 + 4300 = 4900 | 600 + 4300 = 4900 |
Which LXX coordinates are selected?
| Person or event field | Main actual cumulative field, BC | Main Moses-side member, BC | Member used here, BC |
|---|---|---|---|
| MT Shem’s birth | 5436–5429 | 5431 | 5436 |
| MT Flood/Arphaxad opening | 4836–4829 | 4831 | 4836 |
| LXX Shem’s birth | 6350–6343 | 6345 | 6346 |
| LXX Flood/Arphaxad opening | 5750–5743 | 5745 | 5746 |
The two LXX fields differ by Shem’s 600. The 6346/5746 pair is one year earlier than its Moses-side 6345/5745 pair. The MT display selects the earlier heads 5436/4836. The matching journeys therefore compare named members of two fields; they are not the result of applying one uniform offset to corresponding main members.
For these selected rows, 6346 − 5436 = 5746 − 4836 = 1446 − 536 = 910. For the Moses-side source members, 6345 − 5431 = 5745 − 4831 = 914. Both differences are arithmetically correct and describe different selections. The equality of the selected journey shapes does not change the main tables.
Sources: File 30 §§1.1–1.2 supplies the two 4900/4300 comparisons. File 18 §6A and §6D supplies the fields and main members; the LXX Shem field follows by adding its 600-year lifespan to the Flood/Arphaxad opening field. The theological descriptions “first deliverance” and “return from exile” interpret the Exodus/restoration references; the numerical spans are separately reproducible.
3. Two partitions of the MT whole
| Partition | First span | Second span | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Through the exile reference at 606 BC | 5436 − 606 = 4830 | 606 − 536 = 70 | 4900 |
| Through ordinary Jacob’s birth at 2006 BC | 5436 − 2006 = 3430 | 2006 − 536 = 1470 | 4900 |
| Factorization | Exact value | Interpretation in this comparison |
|---|---|---|
| 69 × 70 | 4830 | Sixty-nine seventy-year units |
| 70 × 70 | 4900 | Seventy seventy-year units |
| 7 × 490 | 3430 | Seven larger Danielic comparison measures |
| 3 × 490 | 1470 | Three larger measures |
| 10 × 147 | 1470 | Ten times Jacob’s actual lifespan |
Jacob’s actual life is 2006–1859 BC = 147 (Genesis 47:28, BSB). The 1470-year interval ends at the restoration reference, rather than at Jacob’s death. The first endpoint of the 3430 is cumulative Shem; its second is ordinary Jacob. They must retain those distinct roles.
Sources: File 30 §2, File 63 §8.7, and File 22 §3.2. The 606/605–536 BC field is a chronological display of exile and restoration; it does not date every deportation, decree, altar, and completed building to one event-year. For the narrative, consult Jeremiah 25:11–12, Jeremiah 29:10, Ezra 1:1–4, and Ezra 3:1–13, all BSB.
The corresponding Conquest partition
File 63 §§8.5–8.8 also develops the original chart’s parallel route through the Conquest. Its first span begins at cumulative Flood, rather than cumulative Shem:
| Declared endpoints | Span | Jubilee measures of 49 years |
|---|---|---|
| Cumulative Flood 4836 BC → Conquest 1406 BC | 3430 = 7 × 490 | 70 |
| Conquest 1406 BC → judgment coordinate AD 65 | 1406 + 65 − 1 = 1470 = 3 × 490 | 30 |
| Complete comparison | 4900 = 10 × 490 | 100 |
The ordinary Conquest reference retains 1406 BC; AD 65 retains its modeled judgment role. This is a forward span across the BC/AD boundary, not a Mirror reflection. The earlier 3430 + 1470 route through Jacob and restoration stays entirely BC.
4. The six-hundred-year correspondence
| Source coordinate | Forward interval | Target | Endpoint role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cumulative Shem’s birth: 5436 BC | 4830 | 606 BC | Exile reference |
| Cumulative Shem’s lifespan endpoint: 4836 BC | 4830 | 6 BC | Preferred birth-era anchor for Christ |
| Cumulative Shem’s birth: 5436 BC | 4900 | 536 BC | Restoration reference |
5436 − 4836 = 606 − 6 = 600. Translating both endpoints by 4830 years preserves the interval. The model gives the chronological coordinates; Genesis gives Shem’s lifespan. Luke 2:1–7 gives Christ’s birth narrative, while Luke 3:23–38 supplies the genealogy through Shem. Neither passage prints a 6 BC date.
Source: File 30 §§3.1–3.2, with File 13 controlling the Christological anchors. The theological comparison of preservation, exile, and Christ’s coming does not create another date-generating rule.
5. The fixed-start expansion
Hold the selected cumulative start at 4836 BC, and apply 70/69 to its 4830-year span. This is a span expansion, not date reflection.
| Step | Equation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Base span | 4836 − 6 | 4830 |
| Exact operator | 4830 × 70/69 | 4900 |
| Gain | 4900 − 4830 | 70 |
| Expanded endpoint | 4900 − 4836 + 1 | AD 65 |
| Civil check | 4836 + 65 − 1 | 4900 |
| Endpoint extension | 6 + 65 − 1 | 70 |
The civil cross-axis formula is BC + AD − 1. It should not be replaced here by the Rounded display formula or by an astronomical sign-reflection rule. There is no Mirror-generation step in this construction.
Source: File 30 §6 and §8.3, with File 46 §1 controlling the exact expansion mechanics. AD 65 is a generated comparison endpoint within the judgment field below. It does not replace the preferred AD 33 Passion anchor or AD 70 Temple-destruction date.
6. The paired seven-year fields
File 30 §4.2, controlled by File 13 §§0.11.5, 2.3, supplies these matching-season pairs:
| Branch | Cumulative source field | Incarnation field | Width of each field |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tishri/autumn | 4837t → 4830t BC | 7t BC → AD 1t | 7 elapsed years |
| Nisan/spring | 4836n → 4829n BC | 6n BC → AD 2n | 7 elapsed years |
| Matched endpoints | Exact span |
|---|---|
| 4837t BC → 7t BC | 4837 − 7 = 4830 |
| 4830t BC → AD 1t | 4830 + 1 − 1 = 4830 |
| 4836n BC → 6n BC | 4836 − 6 = 4830 |
| 4829n BC → AD 2n | 4829 + 2 − 1 = 4830 |
The outer source envelope 4837t–4829n BC is 7.5 years, whereas each same-season component is 7. Similarly, the outer Incarnation envelope 7t BC–AD 2n is 7.5. An unsuffixed subtraction of 4837 − 4829 = 8 does not measure the phase-resolved outer envelope or either component width.
The inherited shorthand 4830 BC → AD 2 would equal 4831 years in ordinary civil arithmetic. Its executable Nisan terminal is 4829n BC → AD 2n = 4830. Preserve the seasonal endpoints rather than shortening that statement into a different equation.
7. The 4900-year judgment field
| Cumulative source member | Forward span | Exact target |
|---|---|---|
| 4837t BC | 4900 | AD 64t |
| 4836n BC | 4900 | AD 65n |
| 4830t BC | 4900 | AD 71t |
| 4829n BC | 4900 | AD 72n |
The paired result is AD 64t/65n → AD 71t/72n. The Tishri row is seven years wide, as is the Nisan row; the outer autumn-to-spring envelope is seven and a half. The source maps this field to the broader period of Roman persecution and the destruction of Jerusalem. That is a chronological and theological comparison, not a claim that all those historical events happened at the four generated boundaries.
One internal civil calculation is 4831 BC → AD 70 = 4831 + 70 − 1 = 4900. AD 70 remains the Temple-destruction climax inside the envelope. AD 65 is the exact civil target from 4836 BC; an AD 65/66 event-label does not make AD 66 another exact 4900 target from that same source.
Source: File 30 §5, with File 13 §§2.3, 3, 6.1–6.2 for phase pairs and File 08 for the dependent Temple/event discussion. Individual proposed identifications at the envelope’s close are not needed to establish its arithmetic.
8. The midpoint belongs to the final seventy
The source’s ministry comparison starts from the Incarnation field and measures the midpoint of a 70-year period. It does not place Christ halfway through all 4900 years.
| Branch | Start | After 35 years | After 70 years |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tishri | 7t BC | AD 29t | AD 64t |
| Nisan | 6n BC | AD 30n | AD 65n |
The wider ministry week is AD 29t/30n → AD 36t/37n. Its midpoint field is AD 33n/33t. The two exact half-week comparisons are AD 29t → AD 33n = 3.5 and AD 30n → AD 33t = 3.5. An unsuffixed expression 29 + 3.5 = 33 is not an exact arithmetic equation; the seasonal half-year supplies the difference.
Sources: File 30 §4.3, File 13 §§0.11.7–0.11.8, 6.1–6.2, and the ministry/Passion interpretation attached to Daniel 9:26–27, ESV. These tables retain the repository’s preferred AD 33 Passion field. The Gospel passages identify Jesus and His ministry; the supplied year placements belong to the chronological model.
9. The generated 4346 BC coordinate in the earlier chart
The earlier chart divided the larger period into 490 + 4340 + 70, corresponding to 7 + 62 + 1 measures of seventy. Its intermediate Creation label must identify the expansion that generates it. File 22 §9.2 supplies that construction:
| Step | Declared calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary MT Creation to Exodus | 4114 − 1446 | 2668 |
| Expand that span, holding Exodus fixed | 2668 × 25/23 | 2900 |
| Generated earlier coordinate | 1446 + 2900 | 4346 BC |
The ordinary Creation anchor remains 4114 BC. The 4346 BC label is File 22’s generated Super-Creation state; no optional Terah or restored-Cainan variant is required by this particular path.
| Declared endpoints | Span | Seventy-year units |
|---|---|---|
| Cumulative Flood member 4836 BC → generated Creation coordinate 4346 BC | 490 | 7 |
| Generated coordinate 4346 BC → birth-era anchor 6 BC | 4340 | 62 |
| Birth-era anchor 6 BC → generated judgment target AD 65 | 70 | 1 |
| Complete comparison | 4900 | 70 |
The sum 490 + 4340 + 70 = 4900 is exact, with 6 + 65 − 1 = 70 for its cross-axis component. The arrangement is a schematic application of Daniel’s 7 + 62 + 1 order to these declared coordinates. It does not make cumulative Flood and expanded Creation consecutive historical events, or turn AD 65 into a literal date for the crucifixion or Temple destruction. File 22 controls the generated coordinate; File 30 controls the larger comparison and AD judgment field.
