Book 2 · Sixteen chapters
This book begins with the celestial signs surrounding Christ’s birth and follows their witness through the promises to Abraham, Israel’s deliverance and entry into the land, the Cross, and the Gospel’s movement among the nations. I read these earthly events with John’s heavenly perspective in view, asking how creation bears witness to the authority of Christ. Read alongside Book 1
Book 1: The Cross at the Center of Time follows the Gospel calendars toward the Cross. The two books share the same concern: to understand the events of earth with Christ’s heavenly authority in view.
Companion study for both books
The Birth and Cross of Christ in Symbolic Time connects the calendar and celestial themes of both books with the larger biblical chronology through day–year comparisons. It can be read alongside either book.
