This appendix supplies the dates, lifespan addition, and calculations used in the article. Its baseline is MT, Nisan, 430 years in Egypt, without the Terah +60 adjustment or restored second Cainan. The cumulative dates are coordinates obtained by arranging complete lifespans; regular dates follow the ordinary chronology.

1. The dates and their meanings
| Position or event | Cumulative MT, BC | Regular MT, BC |
|---|---|---|
| Creation-week beginning | 14011 | 4121 |
| Adam / internal Year-6 position | 14006 | 4116 |
| Creation-week closing boundary | 14004 | 4114 |
| Abraham’s birth | 2435 | 2166 |
| Moses’ birth | 1526 | 1526 |
| Moses’ death / Conquest anchor | 1406 | 1406 |
Sources: File 22 §0.1, §§5.1–5.2, and §7.1; File 18 §6A; File 09 §3A.1. The Year-6 pair follows File 22’s explicit local ruling. The ordinary Creation close remains 4114 BC.
Here n denotes Nisan (spring) and t denotes Tishri (autumn).
The Creation comparison uses matching Nisan positions: 14011n–14004n BC and 4121n–4114n BC. Each has a seven-year boundary span. Counting the eight printed year labels inclusively would answer a different question. The separate Tishri cumulative envelope, 14012t–14005t BC, is not substituted into this Nisan comparison.
The familiar cumulative 12600-year lifespan total reaches 14006 BC when counted back from 1406 BC. The Creation envelope extends around that internal position. Consequently, 14004 BC is the envelope’s closing boundary, not a new statement that the 26 lifespans total 12598 years.
In the whole-year Aaron/Moses display, the cumulative envelope is 14011 → 14009 → 14006 → 14004 BC, partitioned 2 + 3 + 2 = 7. File 18’s exact phase column retains 14009.5 BC for the Aaron-side position; this fractional phase and the integer diagram are separate displays. The cumulative chronology appendix explains that foundation. No rounding or phase adjustment is needed in the present Nisan subtractions.
2. Deriving cumulative Abraham at 2435 BC
The ancestral line from Abraham to Moses contains seven lifespans. Joseph and Aaron do not add extra generations to this Moses-line sum.
| Patriarch | Full lifespan | Cumulative BC boundaries |
|---|---|---|
| Abraham | 175 | 2435 → 2260 |
| Isaac | 180 | 2260 → 2080 |
| Jacob | 147 | 2080 → 1933 |
| Levi | 137 | 1933 → 1796 |
| Kohath | 133 | 1796 → 1663 |
| Amram | 137 | 1663 → 1526 |
| Moses | 120 | 1526 → 1406 |
| Total | 1029 | 2435 → 1406 |
The lifespan figures are stated in Genesis 25:7, 35:28, 47:28, Exodus 6:16, 6:18, 6:20, and Deuteronomy 34:7.
175 + 180 + 147 + 137 + 133 + 137 + 120 = 1029.
Anchoring the end at Moses’ death gives 1406 + 1029 = 2435 BC. The Exodus stands 40 years before that terminal anchor, so the comparison to the Exodus is 1029 − 40 = 989 years, equivalently 2435 − 1446 = 989.
These are formal lifespan boundaries: the next patriarch’s cumulative birth boundary occupies the preceding patriarch’s cumulative death boundary. They are not ordinary father-and-son birth intervals. In regular MT chronology, Abraham’s birth remains 2166 BC. The complete data are available in File 18 §§6–6A and the non-rounded cumulative tables.
3. The bridge calculations
| Comparison | Exact calculation |
|---|---|
| Matching Creation-week beginnings | 14011 − 4121 = 9890 |
| Matching internal Year-6 positions | 14006 − 4116 = 9890 |
| Matching Creation-week closes | 14004 − 4114 = 9890 |
| Sojourn-length units in the larger bridge | 9890 = 23 × 430 |
| Cumulative Abraham to regular Exodus | 2435 − 1446 = 989 = 23 × 43 |
| Scale relationship | 9890 ÷ 989 = 10 |
| Smaller-span 25/23 expansion | 989 × 25/23 = 1075 = 25 × 43 |
| Larger-span 25/23 expansion | 9890 × 25/23 = 10750 = 25 × 430 |
The last row shows that the same ratio preserves the ten-to-one relationship: 10750 ÷ 1075 = 10. It is an expansion of a duration. Any use of the expanded span to generate a date must specify the fixed endpoint. For the article’s smaller comparison that endpoint is 1446 BC, giving 1446 + 1075 = 2521 BC.
All calculations displayed here remain on the BC side. They use same-side subtraction, without a BC/AD crossover or a Mirror convention. The larger and smaller spans compare different pairs of events; the ten-to-one equality does not imply that every regular date is obtained from its cumulative counterpart by a uniform translation.
4. The generated 430–215–430 sequence
| Interval, BC | Years | Endpoint meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 2521 → 2091 | 430 | Generated comparison boundary → Abram’s departure from Haran for Canaan |
| 2091 → 1876 | 215 | Abram’s call → Jacob’s entry into Egypt |
| 1876 → 1446 | 430 | Jacob’s entry → Exodus |
| 2521 → 1446 | 1075 | 430 + 215 + 430 |
Source: File 22 §§5.3–5.4. 2521 BC is generated from the expansion, not assigned here to the Flood, Shem’s birth, or another event. The 430-year interval before Abram’s call is a structural counterpart to the Egyptian sojourn; it does not identify an earlier Egyptian captivity.
The central 215 years belong to the patriarchal period before Egypt in this normal MT calculation. They do not replace the final 430 with a 215-year stay. Other sojourn readings are treated in the sojourn article and its supporting tables.
5. Why 9,890, 9,900, and 10,000 must be distinguished
| Number | What it represents here |
|---|---|
| 9890 | The unrounded matched Creation difference, 14004 − 4114; also 14006 − 4116. |
| 9900 | The separate Rounded Scaffold comparison, 14006 − 4106, controlled by File 51a §16.2. |
| 10000 | A value explored through particular constructions in the original discussion; it is not the unrounded baseline difference. |
The shared cumulative label 14006 BC does not make its actual and rounded uses interchangeable. Each belongs to its own table and calculation. See File 22’s §5 state controls, File 51a §§16.1–16.2, and the rounded 9900 article.
One precision point matters for the original discussion’s 364/360 comparison:
9890 × 364/360 = 9890 × 91/90 = 89999/9 = 9999 + 8/9.
It falls 1/9 year short of 10000. That remainder corresponds to 40 days only when a 360-day schematic year is specified. The result is close to 10000, but it is not exactly 10000. This does not invalidate separately defined exact 10000-year constructions; each requires its own endpoints and derivation. The present article needs only the exact 9890/989 relationship.
