1. A measured number and a symbolic question

“He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

Colossians 1:17, BSB

The fine-structure constant measures the strength of electromagnetic interaction. It is dimensionless, so its numerical value does not depend on choosing meters, feet, or another physical unit. Physics conventionally denotes it by α, the Greek letter alpha. For a Christian reader, that name invites a further association with Christ’s title, “the Alpha and the Omega” (Revelation 22:13).

I offer the following as a personal numerical reflection. I do not take 4116 BC as the literal historical date of humanity’s creation. The dates belong to the symbolic chronology developed on this site. Within that framework, a familiar physical number appears to connect Creation, the appointed offspring, and the incarnation. Whether such correspondences amount to a figurative signature is the question that interests me.

The CODATA 2022 recommended values provide the measured starting point:1

α⁻¹ = 137.035999177(21)
α = 0.0072973525643(11)
Working inverse: 137.036

An exact sum of patriarchal lifespans also supplies 137 × 25. That calculation provides a chronological starting point alongside the measured number. The small decimal part matters. Written in a schematic year of 360 days, it becomes almost thirteen days. Multiplied thirtyfold, it brings the comparison into the same symbolic day counts that already connect Christ’s birth with His ministry and Passion.

This study can be read on its own. The Birth and Cross of Christ in Symbolic Time supplies the fuller calendar, genealogy, and Passion argument. Here I retain the calculations needed to follow the constant and leave the larger network available by reference.

2. The first 137: Creation and Seth

The integer 137 already recurs within Abraham’s family and its Levitical descendants. Three occurrences are stated lifespans; two are ages calculated from the chronology.2

The Abrahamic family: five occurrences of 137

Person and occasionBasis for 137
Abraham when Sarah died127 + 10 = 137; Sarah’s lifespan and their age difference
Ishmael’s lifespan137, stated in Genesis 25:17
Isaac when Jacob fled to Haran60 + 77 = 137, in the repository’s departure chronology
Levi’s lifespan137, stated in Exodus 6:16
Amram’s lifespan137, stated in Exodus 6:20

The land promise runs through this setting. Sarah’s burial gives Abraham a purchased holding in Canaan. Jacob travels toward Haran, reversing Abraham’s earlier journey, and receives the promise of return. Exodus 6 recalls the covenant and promised land before listing Levi’s and Amram’s ages.

The foundational comparison begins at Creation. Its seven symbolic years join Adam’s 130 years to Seth:

4121 BC → 4114 BC → 3984 BC
7 + 130 = 137 years

The first date is the opening of the Creation-week overlay. The second is its endpoint and the regular Masoretic Text (MT) Creation datum. Seth is the appointed offspring in Abel’s place, within the genealogy leading to Christ. I read that continuity in the light of the woman’s promised seed in Genesis 3:15 and the childbirth setting of verse 16.3

At this scale the expression is 1/137. Refining the denominator with the rounded measured residue gives 1/137.036. The decimal part has a particularly simple relationship to the calendar unit:

0.036 × 360 = 3.6 × 3.6
= 12.96 days ≈ 13 days

Thus, from opening Nisan 1 in 4121 BC, 137.036 schematic years reach near the close of Nisan 13 in Seth’s year. This month and day are the model’s result; Genesis supplies the begetting age. The symmetry 3.6² will return beside the larger square expressions below.

The underlying Creation interpretation also places the Fall on Day 13: six days, the seventh day, and six more. In that reading, 6 + 1 + 6 = 13 becomes the setting for the promise of offspring who will overcome the serpent. The unit expression begins with Seth; its thirtyfold counterpart reaches toward Christ.

3. The cumulative lifespans: ten, Shem, and fifteen

Before turning to the thirtyfold comparison with Christ, another occurrence of 137 deserves a full calculation. The cumulative chronology places the MT lifespans end to end along the Adam-to-Moses line. After Jacob, that line follows Levi, Kohath, and Amram to Moses. Its 26 members divide naturally around Shem as 10 + 1 + 15.4

The tables show each age and the running total. The cumulative sequence measures complete lives in succession; the regular genealogy separately records when fathers begot their sons.

The first ten: Adam through Noah

8575 = 175 × 49 = 343 × 25 = 7³ × 5²

These ten lives carry the selected cumulative Year-6 position from 14006 BC to Shem’s birth at 5431 BC: 14006 − 8575 = 5431.

Shem in the middle: 600 years

Shem: 5431 BC → 4831 BC
600 years = 24 × 25

Shem forms the single middle member. At 4831 BC, his cumulative life closes and Arphaxad’s begins; the cumulative Flood is also marked at this junction. The next block therefore begins with Arphaxad.

The last fifteen: Arphaxad through Moses

3425 = 137 × 25 = 137 × 5²

The final fifteen lives carry the sequence from 4831 BC to the completion of Moses’ life and the Conquest at 1406 BC: 4831 − 3425 = 1406. The factor 137 is already present in this exact sum of ages.

The shared factor of twenty-five

10 lives + Shem + 15 lives
8575 + 600 + 3425
= 25 × (343 + 24 + 137)
= 25 × 504 = 12600 years

Temporarily setting Shem’s 600 years aside leaves 25 lifespans. Their total is:

8575 + 3425
= 25 × (343 + 137)
= 25 × 480 = 12000 years

The remaining 25 lives therefore average exactly 480 years. The same factor of 25 belongs to the totals before Shem, to his own 600 years, and to the 137-based total after him. The first block also preserves 7³, while both outer blocks carry 5².

The land promise and its entry point

In the regular chronology, Abram leaves Haran at 75 = 3 × 25 in 2091 BC. The Conquest begins 685 = 5 × 137 years later, at 1406 BC. This is half a 1370-year unit. It also divides the existing cumulative Shem-to-Conquest span:5

The call of Abram within the 3425-year comparison

Selected comparisonYearsMultiple of 137
Cumulative Shem’s death 4831 BC → regular call 2091 BC274020 × 137
Regular call 2091 BC → Conquest 1406 BC6855 × 137
Full comparison: 4831 → 1406 BC342525 × 137

The regular call therefore divides this cumulative comparison in a 4:1 proportion: 3425 = 2740 + 685. The promise and Israel’s entry into the land give that division a narrative setting.

Only after establishing those whole-year sums do I introduce the measured constant’s rounded decimal part:

25 × 137.036 = 3425.9 schematic years
0.9 × 360 = 324 = 18² days

Thus 137 × 5² years receives a companion residue of 18² days. The central measured inverse gives 323.992593 days, which still rounds to 324. I give this lifespan calculation a principal place in the inquiry because a reader can reproduce its 137 directly from the listed ages. Appendix E retains the more tentative Flood Mirror comparison.

The thirteen-day residue, the feasts, and the seasons

The repeated 685 = 5 × 137 unit has a useful companion residue. At unit scale, 0.036 × 360 = 12.96 days, almost thirteen. Its Nisan-13 placement recalls the Fall and the promise of the woman’s offspring in the Creation interpretation of Section 2; the refined Creation-to-Seth comparison reaches that day in Seth’s year.

5 × 137.036 = 685.18 schematic years
0.18 × 360 = 64.8 days

The thirteen-day residue at selected multiples of 137

2055 = 15 × 137194.4Day 195: Tishri 15, Tabernacles

For this table, opening Nisan 1 is coordinate zero; ordinal Day 65 spans 64–65, and Day 195 spans 194–195. The 64.8 residue is exactly half of 129.6. The familiar whole-day labels are therefore 65, 130, and 195, with 195 = 3 × 65. Keeping the fractions until the end places 194.4 within Day 195. Each dated application retains its own starting offset.

Isaiah supplies a further scriptural association: “Within sixty-five years Ephraim will be shattered as a people” (Isaiah 7:8, BSB). The statement concerns Ephraim within the crisis involving Israel and Syria; the same chapter introduces the Immanuel birth sign. I read this as a thematic association alongside the calendar comparisons.6

The sevenfold residue invites a related inquiry. An Enochian season contains 13 × 7 = 91 days, and four such seasons make 364 days. The 90.72-day residue of seven units of 137.036 is close to that seasonal length. All residues here still use the 360-day mapping. Compatibility with the 364-day year remains an exploratory question whose calendar conversion has yet to be worked out; Appendix A records the unit distinction.7

4. Why thirtyfold?

The MT Year-6 position for Adam is 4116 BC. The apparent-age overlay places his maturity thirty years earlier, at 4146 BC. Luke describes Jesus as about thirty when He began His ministry. Those two thirty-year positions give a theological setting for the larger fraction.8

4116 BC → 6 BC = 4110 years
4110 = 30 × 137
30/4110 = 1/137

The seven-year Creation overlay, the regular endpoint, and the Year-6 position serve different purposes. The first comparison began at 4121 BC; this one begins at 4116 BC. Keeping those positions explicit prevents the dates from becoming interchangeable.

Using the measured inverse rounded to 137.036 changes the thirtyfold denominator as follows:

30 × 137.036 = 4111.08
30/4111.08 = 1/137.036 ≈ α
(4111.08 − 4110) × 360
= 1.08 × 360 = 388.8 days ≈ 389 days

The extra 0.036 is taken from the measured constant. The biblical fraction supplies the whole-number comparison; the measured residue supplies the proposed calendar refinement. Multiplication comes before rounding: 30 × 12.96 = 388.8, almost 30 × 13 = 390.

This is where a short reading key is needed. In the parent study, the opening of Nisan 1 in 6 BC is Day 0. Elapsed day coordinates can then be read as symbolic year labels. “AD 395” therefore names a day–year coordinate within this model; it does not assert that Christ was born in the historical year AD 395.9

Table 3. How Adam’s sixth day reaches the AD 394/395 coordinates

Boundary being followedDay coordinateAfter the nearest-day addition of 389
Opening of Nisan 65394
Completion of Nisan 66395

The whole sixth day spans coordinates 5–6; translated by 389 it spans 394–395. The latter interval is represented Day 395, Month 2, day 5 in the selected 5 BC frame. I use its completion coordinate, AD 395, for the exact whole-unit comparisons that follow. Appendix A retains the fractional result.

5. Why AD 395 belongs to the birth pattern

The parent study’s selected birth position is symbolic AD 555, derived from Tishri 15 in 5 BC on its intercalated 360 calendar. The constant-derived coordinate stands 160 units before it. Two already established anchors give that movement the same meaning through different operations:

One anchor belongs to the repository’s separate cumulative, or lifespan-based, chronology. For the ordinary cross-era spans below, use BC + AD − 1; civil dating has no year zero.

Table 4. Two routes from AD 395 to the birth coordinate AD 555

Fixed anchorSpan to AD 395Span to AD 555

Exodus
1446 BC
1840 = 80 × 232000 = 80 × 25

The first route changes forty 360-unit years into forty 364-unit years. The second applies the Key of 23, multiplying 1840 by 25/23. Both add 160 and arrive at AD 555. In this limited sense AD 395 is a contracted counterpart of the birth coordinate.10

The related 161-unit links retain the neighboring boundaries: 394 → 555 and 395 → 556 are each 7 × 23. In the earlier birth sequence, symbolic AD 95 represents John’s conception, followed by the birth of Jesus at AD 555. The constant-derived lower boundary divides that span:

AD 95 → AD 394 → AD 555
299 + 161 = 460
(13 × 23) + (7 × 23) = 20 × 23

The same 7/13 pair seen in the Creation interpretation now divides the 460-day birth comparison. Multiplying the complete span by 25/23 makes 460 → 500, an increase of forty. Holding AD 95 fixed, the endpoint moves from AD 555 to AD 595, the completion of the forty-day maternal purification template.

Another arrangement helps explain why the parts fit. From Christ’s conception coordinate AD 275 to His birth at AD 555 are 280 days. The AD 395 position and its forty-day extension divide that pregnancy as:

AD 275 → 395 → 435 → 555 → 595
120 + 40 + 120 + 40

Thus AD 395 stands 400 years from 6 BC in ordinary BC/AD span arithmetic, while AD 275 stands 280 years from it. Their difference is 120. The repeated 120 and forty-unit movements explain part of the interlock. They also keep the day count connected with the literal epoch that generated its symbolic labels.

6. Why 222 matters before it is squared

The number 222 has a chronological role before it enters an expression for the constant. The parent article compares the paired Passion years AD 30 and AD 33. On the 360 calendar, the Nisan-13 completion positions receive symbolic labels AD 12763 and AD 13873. Three years and the intervening leap month give 1110 days.

From the Exodus at 1446 BC to symbolic AD 13873 are 15318 = 23 × 666 = 69 × 222 years. One Key-of-23 form changes 69 to 70; another changes 23 to 25:

15318 × 70/69 = 15540
Increase: 222 → endpoint AD 14095

15318 × 25/23 = 16650
Increase: 1332 → endpoint AD 15205

Figure 1. The chronological setting of the central 222

1110 + 222 + 1110
= (5 + 1 + 5) × 222 = 2442

The correct proportion is 5 + 1 + 5: each outer span is five times the central span. Since 222 = 2 × 111, the arrangement also belongs to the parent study’s repeated 111-unit structures. The Nisan-15 line moves every node forward by two, preserving the intervals. The Gospel death and resurrection positions remain adjacent to the Nisan-13 comparison rather than being collapsed into it.11

This gives 222 a place within the birth–Passion argument. The square expression below then reuses that number. The linear arrangement does not by itself require that 222 be squared; the further question is whether its appearance in both settings is meaningful.

7. A compact expression for the inverse constant

The whole-number starting point is exact:

222² + 6² = 49284 + 36
= 49320 = 137 × 360

The same small square found in the residue supplies the refinement:

(222² + 6² + 3.6²)/360
= 49332.96/360 = 137.036 ≈ α⁻¹

α ≈ 360/(222² + 6² + 3.6²)

A simpler companion exchanges 6² for 7²:

(222² + 7²)/360
= 49333/360
= 137 + 13/360 = 137.036111…

The difference between the squares is 7² − 6² = 13. The expression therefore brings together 222, the 360-day unit, and the six/seven/thirteen relationship already present in the Creation reading. It also explains why the integer 49333 will be useful in the further research below.

AD 395 itself participates in larger square measures: the regular MT Creation comparison expands to 70², the LXX comparison to 80², while the cumulative Year-6 span is already 120² = 40 × 360. Noah and Shem supply 50² and 60². Appendix B displays the dates, operators, and Gear labels together.

The chronology also carries AD 395 toward the Passion: AD 395 → AD 14095 = 13700, or 137 generations of one hundred years. Adding the purification forty first gives 435 + 40 × 336 = 13875, the symbolic Nisan-15 position in literal AD 33. The constant comparison therefore rejoins both the birth and the Passion ends of the parent study.

8. The LXX and the Rounded witnesses

The Septuagint (LXX) widens the comparison. Its regular Creation positions are 1380 years earlier than the corresponding MT positions. The thirty-year apparent-age overlay gives these parallel measures:

Table 5. The 137 and 138 measures retain their different starting points

Starting positionSpan to 6 BC
Regular MT Year 6: 4116 BC4110 = 30 × 137
Regular MT apparent age: 4146 BC4140 = 30 × 138
Regular LXX apparent age: 5526 BC5520 = 40 × 138
Rounded LXX lower member: 5486 BC5480 = 40 × 137

The Rounded Creation blocks are 4111/4106 BC for MT and 5491/5486 BC for LXX. Corresponding lower members remain 1380 apart. Comparing Rounded LXX 5486 BC with regular MT Year 6 at 4116 BC instead gives 1370 = 10 × 137. The parent study develops the resulting sixtyfold and seventyfold Mirror comparisons.12

The 1370-year bridge and the cumulative Flood

Adding the apparent age of thirty to the mixed pair 5486/4116 BC gives 5516/4146 BC. Their midpoint is the cumulative Flood, Arphaxad-birth, and Shem-death position 4831 BC:

5516 BC → 4831 BC → 4146 BC
685 + 685 = 1370 = 10 × 137

Here 5516 is the thirty-year overlay on Rounded LXX 5486; 4146 is regular MT Year 6 plus thirty. The midpoint belongs to the cumulative Flood week. The regular LXX apparent-age position remains 5526 BC, as in Table 5.

The same 1370-year unit reaches the Conquest and Christ

Starting positionTargetSpan
Regular MT apparent age: 4146 BCConquest: 1406 BC2740 = 2 × 1370

Regular MT Year 6: 4116 BCChrist: 6 BC4110 = 3 × 1370
Rounded LXX lower member: 5486 BCChrist: 6 BC5480 = 4 × 1370

In each family the Rounded LXX starting point adds one 1370-year block. The same 4110 = 30 × 137 reaches the Conquest from the LXX apparent-age overlay and Christ from MT Year 6. Appendix F records the whole-week midpoint and the further Rounded Shem comparison.

The sixtyfold and seventyfold Mirror comparisons also retain their fractional residues. With the declared offset of Nisan 7 ending, sixty units of 137.036 place the residual phase within Day 65, the lunar Pentecost position mapped to the 360 calendar. Seventy units place it within Day 195, Tishri 15. The extra ten units contribute 129.6 days. Appendix C shows the unrounded addition and the calendar assumptions.

These examples extend the MT comparison while retaining each tradition’s own starting position. The fortyfold line in Table 5 is a Rounded LXX comparison; the regular LXX apparent-age line uses 138 instead.

9. The thirty- and forty-unit scales: a further question

The integer companion N = 49333 invites another experiment. Treat N as a count. Thirty-day units give N × 30 days, or 49333 schematic months. Forty-day units give N × 40 days. To compare their numerical shapes, express both spans in the same thirty-day unit:

Table 6. The common unit makes the scaling explicit

ConstructionTotal daysNumber of thirty-day units
49333 × 30 days147999049333
49333 × 40 days197332065777⅓

The second count is one and one-third times the first. When days are read as symbolic years, the forty-day block may also be read as a forty-year generation. That interpretation changes the stated scale; it does not turn a forty-day block into an ordinary month.

Pairing the first count with its reflection gives an exact decomposition:

49333 + 49333
= 49000 + 333 + 333 + 49000
= 49000 + 666 + 49000

Each bookend is 49000 = 70 × 700 = 10 × 70². The forty-unit version has a different residual form:

65777⅓ = 65000 + 777⅓
65000 = 130000/2 = 500 × 130

At whole-unit resolution, the two scales place 333 beside 49000 and 777 beside 65000. Within my biblical reading, the seventy-based bookend carries a completion theme, whereas 130 belongs to the curse-and-renewal associations developed elsewhere in the chronology. Doubling 333 gives 666, associated with fallen humanity; the sevens of 777 suggest completion.

A mixed construction places their residuals at the center:

49000 + 333 + 777⅓ + 65000
= 49000 + 1110⅓ + 65000

The exact center is 1110⅓. Rounding the forty-unit arm to 65777 gives the whole-unit center 333 + 777 = 1110. Here 333 = 3 × 111 and 777 = 7 × 111, totaling 10 × 111. That is a suggestive resemblance to the exact 1110-unit arms of the Passion arrangement. It remains a rounded resemblance; the retained third of a unit belongs in the calculation.

Table 7. Three central forms, with the fractional part retained

Paired armsExact center between the bookendsEach arm rounded first
Thirty + thirty333 + 333 = 6663 × 222
Thirty + forty333 + 777⅓ = 1110⅓1110 = 5 × 222
Forty + forty777⅓ + 777⅓ = 1554⅔1554 = 7 × 222

The 3, 5, and 7 multiples of 222 follow when each arm is rounded before pairing; the fractional column records what the original scaling actually gives. Their recurrence may be useful when asking whether a simpler arithmetic underlies larger chronological arrangements.

The thirtyfold 137 comparison belongs to the regular MT Year-6 span; its doubled whole-number form, 8220 = 60 × 137, also has a Rounded MT Mirror setting. The fortyfold 137 comparison belongs to the Rounded LXX span in Table 5. Assigning N’s refined residue to those spans is a further operation. It is important to keep the scale experiment beside its chronological anchors rather than treating the decomposition alone as an established MT or LXX date.

This is a natural subject for the 490d research site. Further work can ask whether the inherited dates and declared operations repeatedly produce these forms, and record where they do not. Such testing could clarify whether the resemblance is a useful organizing principle or simply an attractive arithmetic possibility.

10. Creation, incarnation, and the continuing inquiry

The question began with a number associated with the physical order. The cumulative lifespan calculation supplies a further point of entry: an exact 137 × 25 after Shem, set beside 343 × 25 before him and his own 24 × 25 in the middle. Its integer part already had a place in the biblical genealogy; its small decimal part could be read through the 360-day unit. At thirtyfold scale, that reading reached the AD 394/395 boundary pair and rejoined the birth coordinate through both the Exodus and cumulative Creation comparisons.

What interests me is the continuity of the reading. The appointed offspring, the two Adams, the days of purification, and the Passion all belong to the scriptural account of creation and its renewal. The number denoted by alpha can be placed within that account in a coherent figurative way. The larger claim—that this constant underlies much of the chronology’s symmetry—remains a question for the continuing study.

For now, I leave the reflection with Christ’s own title: “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13). The physical measurement supplies the numerical curiosity; the One through whom all things were made supplies the theological reason for pondering it.

The rounded working result differs from the central-input result by about thirteen minutes of schematic time. Rounding either to 389 days adds about five hours. The comparison is therefore meaningful at the stated calendar-day resolution; it does not reproduce the experimental precision of α.

Without rounding, translating the whole sixth day gives [393.7911116, 394.7911116] from the central input. At nearest-day resolution it becomes [394, 395]. The opening of Nisan 1 is coordinate zero; ordinal Day d spans [d − 1, d]. This distinction also controls the larger Creation template:

Table A2. The Creation–purification template translated by 389 days

Position followedOriginal interval or boundaryTranslated
Opening Nisan 10389

Nisan 13: seven days later12–13401–402
Day 46: Month 2, day 1645–46434–435

The closing-boundary form is 389 + 6 + 7 + 33 = 435. The adjacent sixth-day convention gives Nisan 7, Nisan 14, and Month 2, day 17. The parent study distinguishes the Jubilees purification template from the repository’s interpretation of the Fall.13

The exact 160-unit movement carries [394, 395] to [554, 555]. The separate 161-unit movement carries it to [555, 556]. Thus the completion comparison 395 → 555 and the neighboring 394 → 555 / 395 → 556 links retain different boundary choices.

At unit scale, 12.96 days from a schematic 6 PM opening reaches Nisan 13 at 5:02:24 PM. The central measured residue gives about 5:01:58 PM. These clock times describe the declared model’s conversion.

The sevenfold residue and the Enochian unit

7 × 0.036 × 360 = 90.72 days
13 × 7 = 91 days
7 × 0.036 × 364 = 91.728 days

The 360-day calculation falls within ordinal Day 91 and is 0.28 days short of a complete 91-day season. Substituting a 364-day year changes the residue to 91.728 days. These are distinct unit choices. The seasonal resemblance in Section 3 is retained as a lead for a future calendar mapping.

Appendix B. Square measures and the birth interlock

SP denotes the Samaritan Pentateuch. The Gear labels retain the parent study’s coordinated positions for Noah and his sons; Gear 1 is the specifically selected position in the two rows below.

The expanded rows follow 23k² × 25/23 = (5k)². The other rows are already squares. The 1380-year MT/LXX difference expands to 1500, exactly 80² − 70². The SP and Noah rows retain their specified comparison state and Gear.14

The 120-year life of Moses divides as forty, forty, and forty. The cumulative comparison combines that 120-square with forty 360-unit years. I read the numerical association in the light of Christ as the prophet like Moses (Deuteronomy 18:15; Acts 3:22).

Two smaller adjustments retain the literal ministry and Temple context. The selected Herodian anchor 20 BC → AD 395 = 414 = 6 × 69 becomes 420 through 70/69. The Conquest comparison 1406 BC → AD 389 = 1794 = 6 × 299 becomes 1800 through 300/299, moving its endpoint to AD 395. Each adds six. The neighboring 21 BC → AD 394 line also spans 414.

For the 368 → 400 comparison, holding AD 395 fixed moves the earlier AD 27 endpoint back thirty-two years to 6 BC. It does not move AD 395 forward. This is the same 400-year span used in the pregnancy interlock.

The apparent-age span 4140 = 30 × 138 also expands by 25/23 to 4500, adding 360, a schematic year. A smaller Mirror comparison, 435 BC → AD 394 or 434 BC → AD 395, gives 828 = 23 × 36; it expands to 900, adding 72. Thus 4140 = 5 × 828 and 360 = 5 × 72. The repository uses seventy-two years as a schematic degree of precession; that association remains distinct from an exact modern astronomical rate.

The first row adds twenty-six and fourteen, totaling forty. The second row separately gives 555 + 14 = 569. The law’s female purification template supplies 14 + 66 = 80, so 555 + 14 + 66 = 635 = 595 + 40. The sixty-six comes from the biblical template. Reading the Second Adam as embracing the restoration of both Adam and Eve is the typological application.

The earlier Tishri Creation phase has a secondary counterpart: subtracting 180 from AD 395 and AD 555 gives AD 215 → AD 375, preserving 160 to John’s birth coordinate. The principal thirtyfold comparison in this article remains directed toward Christ’s AD 555 position.

Appendix C. The doubled span, the Mirror, and the feast phases

Ordinary elapsed-year arithmetic crossing the BC/AD boundary uses BC + AD − 1. The twofold working span is:

2 × 30 × 137.036 = 8222.16 years
= 8220 years + 777.6 days
= 8222 years + 57.6 days

From the end-of-Year-7 family 4115t/4114n BC, the whole 8222-year component reaches AD 4108t/4109n. That is the paired year/phase Mirror of the Year-13 completion 4109t/4108n BC. The letters t and n denote the Tishri and Nisan positions; within this paired convention an earlier Tishri accompanies the following Nisan. This comparison of year coordinates is distinct from reflecting every month, day, and instant.

For a further day-phase comparison, retain Nisan 7 ending as coordinate 7. The fractional remainder gives 7 + 57.6 = 64.6, within ordinal Day 65. With a schematic 6 PM day boundary this is 8:24 AM. The central measured inverse gives 64.5822232, about 7:58 AM. Acts places Peter’s address at the third hour, about 9 AM; the outpouring precedes it.15

The Rounded Chronology is calculated on multiples of five, including across the Mirror. Its signed coordinates are q(B BC) = −(B − 1) and q(AD A) = A − 1. The displayed dates end in 1 or 6; their coordinates end in 0 or 5. Across the Mirror, use WR = B + A − 2. All Rounded widths below follow this five-year grid.

Table C1. Rounded Creation comparisons on the five-year grid

Rounded comparisonSigned coordinatesRounded width
4111 BC → AD 4111−4110 → +41108220 = 60 × 137

4106 BC → AD 5486−4105 → +54859590 = 70 × 137

The seventyfold spans divide as 1370 + 8220 and, reflected, 8220 + 1370. Since 8220 = 6 × 1370, they retain a 1 + 6 / 6 + 1 arrangement. Rounded labels alone do not assign a Tishri or Nisan phase.

The further Rounded pairs 5486 BC → AD 5476 and 5481 BC → AD 5481 each give a coordinate width of 10960 = 80 × 137. The fuller boundary development can remain with the parent study.

Table C2. The declared Nisan-7-ending phase overlay

70 × 137.036907.27 + 187.2 = 194.2
Within Day 195: Tishri 15

The exact addition is 64.6 + 129.6 = 194.2. Rounding Day 65 first would lose the fractional phase. Day 65 is the lunar Pentecost placement mapped to the 360 calendar; the Enochian Day-75 placement is a separate mapping. This feast overlay declares both its starting offset and schematic 360-day units; it is not an inference from the last digits of Rounded dates.

Appendix D. The new scale experiment and its precision

Let N = 49333. The thirty-unit span is 30N = 1479990 days = 4111 years + 30 days. Doubling gives 8222 years + 60 days. Its integer baseline, 2 × 30 × 137 = 8220, has the Rounded MT Mirror setting in Table C1; the integer companion adds two schematic years and sixty days.

The forty-unit span is 40N = 1973320 days = 5481 years + 160 days. Its baseline 40 × 137 = 5480 is the 5486 BC → 6 BC Rounded LXX comparison. Expressing 40N in thirty-day blocks gives 40N/30 = 65777⅓. These are unit conversions, not extra historical dates.

The exact parent symmetry 1110 + 222 + 1110 remains exact on its own calendar calculation. Table D1 records the precision needed when comparing the new residual center with it. The two observations have different derivations.

The integer companion also changes a timed feast calculation if substituted for 137.036. Its residue is thirteen days per unit, so sixty units give 780 rather than 777.6 days, and seventy give 910 rather than 907.2. With the same offset of seven and removal of 720 days, the phases become 67 and 197, rather than 64.6 and 194.2. The timed feast comparison therefore retains the more precise working value; the new whole-unit pattern retains its own approximation.

Further testing should keep the input constant, the chronological state, the scale, the anchor, and the rounding rule attached to each result. Repeated forms generated from the same identity are related consequences. Their value as an explanation of the wider chronology will depend on what they account for when those choices are fixed in advance.

Appendix E. Supporting Flood comparisons

The cumulative Flood envelope and the Year-6 position

The cumulative Flood envelope 4836–4829 BC translates to the Conquest/rest envelope 1406–1399 BC by 3430 = 7 × 490 = 70 × 49. The selected 4831 → 1406 comparison instead spans 3425 because its opening point lies five years inside the Flood envelope. The lifespan partition in Section 3 retains that particular Year-6 position.16

The forty-eightfold placement in the Flood Mirror frame

48 × 137.036 = 6577.728
4121 BC → AD 2457 = 6577 years
0.728 × 360 = 262.08 days

Taking Nisan 1 as coordinate zero, 262.08 lies within ordinal Day 263: Kislev 23. Moving the Creation origin to Nisan 5 adds four elapsed days, reaching 266.08, within Day 267: Kislev 27. A morning origin retains its own clock position; the calculation here identifies the day.

Genesis places the filling of the waters and sky with fish and birds on Day 5 (Genesis 1:20–23). I compare that imagery with a proposed Tishri-based Flood overlay: its Month 2, day 17 is Cheshvan 17; forty days later comes Kislev 27, Day 87 from Tishri. The following year’s Month 2, day 27 is Day 57 from Tishri, the proposed departure from the ark.

AD 2457, Tishri-count Day 87
→ AD 2458, Tishri-count Day 57
(360 − 87) + 57 = 330 days

In the Nisan count, the same two seasonal positions are Day 267 and Day 237. This is an exploratory overlay within the mirrored Flood-year frame; the exact reflection of complete dates and instants remains a separate operation.

The forty-eight and twelve proportional division

60 = 48 + 12
48 : 12 : 60 = 480 : 120 : 600

The proportion recalls the 480-plus-120 arrangement within Noah’s 600 years to the Flood. Its chronological applications retain different Creation origins: the forty-eightfold comparison launches from 4121 BC, while the sixtyfold comparison in Appendix C launches from the end-of-Year-7 family at 4114 BC.

12 × 137.036 = 1644.432
Endpoint gap at year-anchor level:
1644.432 + 7 = 1651.432 years

The seven-year difference remains explicit, with any retained day offset carried separately. I keep this proportional observation here as a supporting lead. The principal 10 + 1 + 15 lifespan calculation in the main text can be followed through its own sums without the Mirror overlay.

Appendix F. The 1370-year bridge and Rounded Shem

The whole-week midpoint overlay

The Year-6 midpoint in Section 8 can be extended through the same seven-year overlay. Every date in the next table is BC. The LXX column is derived by placing a thirty-year apparent-age overlay on the selected Rounded LXX base; it is kept distinct from the regular LXX dates.

Table F1. A midpoint at the cumulative Flood week

Selected boundaryRounded LXX +30 overlayRegular MT +30 overlayMidpoint
Week opening552141514836
Year 6551641464831
Week completion551441444829

Each outer pair is 1370 years apart, with 685 years on either side of its midpoint. The resulting 4836–4829 BC window is the cumulative Flood envelope. The 5514 closing boundary is derived within this overlay; it is not an additional node on the pure Rounded grid. Once the Year-6 midpoint is fixed, the parallel week boundaries follow from the same construction.

Rounded cumulative Shem across the Mirror

The repository’s Rounded cumulative Moses line places Shem at 5436 → 4836 BC. Its Aaron +5 companion is 5441 → 4841 BC. The actual cumulative Moses comparison remains 5431 → 4831 BC. Each life spans 600 years.17

Table F2. The Rounded and actual Shem positions

StateBirth BCDeath/Flood boundary BC
Aaron +5 Rounded companion54414841
Standard Rounded Moses54364836
Actual Moses comparison54314831

Crossing the birth of one Rounded state with the mirrored death of the other gives the same width in either direction. The five-year rule defined in Appendix C applies:

Table F3. Crossed Rounded Shem comparisons

BC birth → mirrored AD deathRounded calculationWidth
5441 BC → AD 48365441 + 4836 − 210275
5436 BC → AD 48415436 + 4841 − 210275

10275 = 75 × 137 = 3 × (25 × 137)
= 3 × 3425

Thus the 3425-year actual lifespan sum after Shem reappears threefold in these crossed Rounded comparisons. The pairing is part of the calculation: the two same-state birth/death pairs instead give 10270 and 10280 on the Rounded grid.

Two secondary cumulative week-boundary spans

Table F4. Further 1370-year multiples

File 18, §6A, supplies these week boundaries and ages. They are useful supporting comparisons; the principal 10 + 1 + 15 construction in Section 3 directly adds complete lifespans. Together the comparisons show where 137 occurs in the age totals, the regular land-promise chronology, and the declared Rounded and week-boundary settings.

Sources and further reading

  1. The measured constant. NIST, 2022 CODATA recommended values, SP 959 (May 2024), gives α⁻¹ = 137.035999177(21) and α = 0.0072973525643(11). Parentheses indicate standard uncertainty in the last quoted digits. The working value 137.036 and the integer companion 49333/360 are approximations used in this study.
  2. The recurring 137 in Abraham’s family. Genesis 25:17 states Ishmael’s 137 years. Exodus 6:16, 20 states the same lifespan for Levi and Amram. Abraham’s age at Sarah’s death is calculated from Genesis 17:17 and 23:1. Isaac’s age uses Genesis 25:26 and File 04, §1.1: 60 + Jacob’s 77 at departure. Genesis 28:10–15 connects Jacob’s journey with renewal of the land promise. These calculated ages remain distinguished from the three stated lifespans.
  3. Seth and the appointed offspring. Genesis 4:25 identifies Seth as the offspring appointed in Abel’s place; Genesis 5:3 supplies Adam’s 130 years. The Creation-week overlay and the proposed Nisan-13 placement are this chronology’s interpretation. See also Genesis 3:15–16 and Luke 3:23–38.
  4. The 10 + 1 + 15 cumulative lifespan calculation. File 18, §6A, supplies the MT ages and cumulative Moses/Nisan trunk. File 22, §1.2 identifies 5431 BC as the internal Year-6 Shem position. The block sums, running totals, 25-factor partition, and 137.036 residue are calculated here. No second Cainan is inserted.
  5. Abram’s call and the Conquest comparison. File 18, §2.3 and Appendix A, supplies the regular 2091 BC call in the standard 430-in-Egypt position; §6A supplies the distinct cumulative 4831 BC boundary and 1406 BC endpoint. Genesis 12:4, 7 supplies Abram’s age of 75 and the land promise. The 2740 + 685 partition compares these explicitly named regular and cumulative positions.
  6. Sixty-five years and the feast-day comparisons. Isaiah 7:8 applies the sixty-five years specifically to Ephraim within the Israel–Aram crisis; the Immanuel sign follows in 7:14. Leviticus 23:34 places Tabernacles on the fifteenth day of the seventh month. Day 65 here is the parent study’s lunar Pentecost position mapped to the 360-day grid. The Creation/Fall Nisan-13 interpretation was introduced in Section 2. The fractional residues and their declared starting phase are calculated here.
  7. The Enochian season and the unresolved calendar extension. File 12, §§5.2 and 7, retains four 91-day Enochian seasons and distinguishes the 364-day year from the 360-day schematic grid; its source control points to 1 Enoch 82. The season is 13 weeks of seven days. The proposed sevenfold constant-residue comparison uses 90.72 days in 360-day units. A formal mapping into the 364-day calendar remains an open inquiry.
  8. Creation positions and the day–year framework. File 07 controls the Creation framework. The parent study, especially its Alpha section and Appendix H, displays the regular, cumulative, and apparent-age positions used here. These symbolic positions are not offered as historical dates for the origin of humanity.
  9. The parent study’s calendar. The birth-count section defines the 6 BC epoch, the AD 555 birth position, pregnancy comparisons, and the intercalated 360-calendar count. The present article restates only the inputs needed for the constant comparison; the calendar is not derived from α.
  10. The Key of 23 and reconciliation. File 29 develops the 7/13 reconciliation reading. Its canonical Markdown source is linked from this landing page. The multipliers used here are 25/23, 70/69, and 300/299; each calculation identifies the quantity and fixed anchor to which the multiplier is applied.
  11. The paired Passion and its 222 center. Figure 4A in the parent study displays AD 12763 → 13873 → 14095 → 15205 and the intervals 1110 + 222 + 1110. Its Nisan-13 positions and the adjacent death/resurrection positions remain distinct. The expanded 616 comparison supplies AD 13995.
  12. The Rounded display and the LXX. File 51a’s September 25 2026 clarification governs the five-year coordinate grid, including its Mirror, and §17.4 supplies the cross-tradition Creation blocks. Rounded spans in this study use that grid throughout. The mixed regular/Rounded comparisons, the derived apparent-age overlay, and the fractional feast overlay retain their stated inputs.
  13. The purification template. Leviticus 12 prescribes the mother’s seven-plus-thirty-three days after a son and fourteen-plus-sixty-six after a daughter, with circumcision on the eighth day. Applying the template to Adam and the Creation sequence follows the interpretation discussed in the parent article; the Day-13 Fall placement belongs to that interpretation.
  14. The square comparisons. The parent article’s Alpha discussion and Appendix H retain the six square comparisons, the SP comparison frame, and the Noah/Shem Gear labels. The SP Shem date is the primary Gear-1 value in the equalized comparison frame, not an unlabelled replacement for its native table.
  15. Pentecost morning. Acts 2:15 places Peter’s address at the third hour, conventionally about 9 AM. The outpouring and the gathering precede his address. The text supplies no exact clock time for the initial outpouring.
  16. The provisional Flood Mirror overlay. File 09 distinguishes year/phase Mirror coordinates from complete reflections of individual instants. Its cumulative Flood/rest comparison is 4836→1406 and 4829→1399, each 3430 years. The rain and departure template follows Genesis 7:11–12 and 8:14–19. The AD 2457–2458 placement, the Tishri overlay, and the 48/12 partition are exploratory comparisons.
  17. Rounded cumulative Shem and the adjacent comparison states. File 55, §7.15.1, gives Rounded cumulative Shem at 5436 BC and the Flood/Arphaxad/Shem-death boundary at 4836 BC. File 51a, §24 distinguishes Aaron’s +5 Rounded companion from the standard Rounded Moses and actual Moses positions. The crossed Mirror widths and the midpoint constructions are calculated comparisons made here.
