## 0. File-function

`File_53` is a companion to `File_51c`, but not a continuation of the Rounded Scaffold argument. `File_51c` established the Book of Jubilees as a macro-rounded witness through the 49/50 dual register. `File_53` isolates the internal symbolic architecture of Jubilees itself: the 22 works of creation, the 22 generations from Adam to Jacob, Cainan's theological expunction, the 7/13 calendar grammar, the Flood-to-rest chiasm, and the larger providential synchronizations that connect BJ to the cumulative MT / SP / LXX fields.

The controlling premise is that Jubilees is not technically inspired in the canonical Hebrew-scriptural sense, yet may preserve genuine chronological and symbolic insight. `File_53` therefore does not attempt to reconstruct a general Second Temple scribal numerology or prove what the author consciously knew. Its narrower aim is to test whether BJ's chronology, especially its treatment of Cainan, Creation, Flood, and Conquest, coheres with the larger OT chronological field under the assumption that divine providence may govern patterns beyond the author's conscious design. In this sense, the author may speak more than he knew under divine sovereignty.

Cainan is historically preserved in Jubilees 8 but excluded from the sacred 22-count because his recovery of Watcher astral lore disqualifies him from the purified covenantal line. This is not a contradiction but a two-ledger system:

The omission of 2nd Cainan is necessary to preserve Jacob as #22. If Cainan is inserted, Jacob becomes #23 and the 22-fold structure collapses.

## 3. Cainan's expunction and the 13th solar position

Active state: Cainan retained state; Cainan expunged state; 13th solar-position state.

Claim-status: structural inference; theological note.

Cainan's omission is more precise than a generic genealogical deletion.

If counted, Cainan would occupy the 13th patriarchal position. In the creation list, the 13th work is the sun. But Cainan's sin in Jubilees 8 concerns the forbidden Watcher lore of sun, moon, stars, and heavenly omens. Therefore he would occupy the very solar / luminary position that he corrupts.

If BJ subtracts Kainan's 57-year interval from the pre-Shelah chronology, while leaving Shelah and all later dates fixed, then all pre-Shelah events shift forward by 57 years.

`2549 − 57 = 2492 BC`

Shelah remains:

This strengthens the case that the 57-year Kainan compression is meaningful, even if full authorial intention cannot be proven.

Note: The 1150/1250 center may also be read dynamically. Since `1150 = 23 × 50` and `1250 = 25 × 50`, reducing the expanded half back to 1150 yields 2300, the Daniel 8 evening-morning total; expanding the 1150 half to 1250 yields `2500 = 50 × 50`.
